“Door lock completely broke and trapped my fiance and I inside Room was just not cleaned. Spit in the sink, stains on the sheets. Just overall awful. Had to call front desk 9 times before someone answered to come unlock our door and get us out. Haven’t received my refund though I’ve asked multiple times. Save your time!!!! And money and go somewhere else”

“The ‘old bask’ (with its spacious studios on the upper floors with the seaside view) was always a lovely place to stay, with its close proximity to piers, docks & restaurants. The now completed additions are an upgrade but now it also includes the new restaurant “mar” with a Top Chef associate running the kitchen (one had to try the grilled octopus sitting on a plantain!) This puts Morehead City into a whole new experience level, justifying the long trip”

“With the Big Rock fishing tournament ongoing this was an emergency booking (as my favorite Bask Hotel was sold out). $355 was way too pricey for the neighborhood, staff appearance and “overflow warehouse” worn furniture, the hard to operate tv (a little channel guide wouldn’t come amiss) and the worn shower hose. The breakfast (with the exception of the egg-omelette) was not edible; the lack of healthy, non-processed food was stunning. But needed a bed and a shower … this place needs a major...

“Staff was good and welcoming checking in. Area does need cleaning up outside the property though. A lot of beer caps. The company could do better on filling up the potholes for a better look. Inside the room was in good condition.”

“My wife and I recently visited the Inlet Inn. The waterfront location is perfect, within very short walking distance to ferry boat rides, nice restaurants, shopping and historic homes and churches. The staff at the Inlet Inn was extremely friendly and helpful; check-in/out was a breeze. Our rooms (due to our late booking we had to change rooms) spectacular! Both rooms were very spacious. The first had a large balcony overlooking the water. The second had a large bay window overlooking the water...

“Property and inside the room was very clean. Room was very big and room. Kitchen has all u need to make a nice meal. Shower has shampoo/ conditioner and body soap. I liked how it was just a short walk to the beach. I e had a lovely time at this place!”

“The room was not cleaned well ,the walls had wall putty on them,there was no remote to the tv,there was no shampoo, conditioner or soap, half a bottle of lotion. The beds was old. I will never stay at another place like that again.”

“Gentleman at the desk was polite and friendly. The common areas, elevator, front lounge area, all spelled of marijuana smoke and dirty mop bucket water. Room was clean except for the mold growing in the shower that should have been easily cleaned. My wife borrowed bathroom spray from the front desk and cleaned it properly. Over all, this could be a nicer place for people to stay, but the upkeep leave something to be desired. Proximity to the beach was very convenient.”
